7/9/06--3 Bass--Boss's Ponds

Post by Lightninrod » Sun Jul 09, 2006 1:26 pm

Went to the Ocmulgee PFA yesterday and skunked out. Didn't see or hear of any Bass caught but the cat and panfishers were loading them up. Did see a 2' gator dog-paddle right by the boat.

Started at 10 AM in the bigger pond and caught 2 keepers and 6 dinks along with the 3lber. All but one(cr/bait) were caught on a T-rigged ZOOM Ultravibe Speed Worm.

Went to the smaller pond and caught 5 or 6 dinks/keepers along with the 2 and the 3 lber in the pics.

Only in the lower 90s today with bluebird skies and a little wind.

2lbs, 11ozs--19"

Nice fish!

Man that Pixy sure looks nice. Were you throwing the worm weightless?

Looks like Junebug ruled the day.
