My Dad and I went to False River again this afternoon to do a little fishing. We only fished for 3 and a half hours but we caught 21 bass in total. It was a great time. We caught all of our fish on 200 series Bandit crankbaits...in the Louisiana Shad color. We were just simply cranking piers...since that's basically all there is on this lake. Our best 3 fish went 10-00 lbs even!!
That sack was anchored by a 5-00 pounder....caught by yours truly...
The Metanium XT was great! I have caught fish with it but this is the first sizeable fish. The fish made several runs at the boat and the drag on the reel was super smooth and performed great. But anyway, here's the picture of the fish...
