Quick question about Daiwa/Abu handle nut retainers

Long story short: I'm wondering if Daiwa and Abu handle nut retainers have the same spacing from the nut to the small screw...? I bought a few Canon finer Abu handles but they don't come with the retainer or screw. 2 of the handles are going on 6.3 Steez's ads ones going on a 100ML (I need a nicer nut and retainer for this one anyways...). I'm out of town at the moment or I'd check myself. Any ideas...? Also, what thread is the main shaft...? I need a left hand threaded nut for the ML. Thanks!

Ive used 2 different size handle nut retainers but the Abu handles are slightly longer retainer from what i remember..
