Daiwa BWII with Team Daiwa V 103HI handle/drags compatible?
The swap would look nice on a Daiwa BWII since the 103HI handle and drag star is gold. Is it compatible? I don't own either, but just thought it would look wicked.
From Daiwa, the parts would cost around $50-60 total, but a used complete reel may be had for less or equal at auctions.

To me, the 50-60 dollar upgrades on a 100 dollar reel wouldnt be worth it.
You ever see them hooptys rolling down the street rusted to all hell but they have these 20+ inch six thousand dollar rims?

I'd say yes its compatible.. but i dont think the TD V 103HI has a clicking dragstar so you would lose out on that feature. I've got a TD BW2 and i could not stand the cheap black plastic star drag on it and handle so i changed the star drag from a pinnacle matrix2 which had a aluminum clicking star drag, fit perfect just wish it was black and put on a 90mm bassart handle and i'ze factory presso knobs on it and they match the spool and brake cap perfect. here sum pic's

Bling Bling! That's a nice looking reel, looks like fat presso minus the casting performance.Kingofpool12 wrote:Yeah lol the handle and knobs cost me more than the reel but thats how i rollGAMEOVER wrote:To me, the 50-60 dollar upgrades on a 100 dollar reel wouldnt be worth it.
