Oh my Sol

Post by silbasser » Sun Feb 27, 2011 3:10 am

OK. I had this issue come up this winter when the weather started to get cold even though I doubt that is the cause of my problems.

When I'm reeling in my Daiwa Sol bait caster and the slightest bit of tension is applied, It becomes extremely difficult to reel. Almost as if the tension nob was tightened down to the extreme. I feel like I've tried everything.

Has anyone had this problem and know what I can do?

If you feel you have tried everything PM D.R. or nitroman77 they can point you in the right direction for sure.

I'd recommend posting this in the Maintenance & Supertuning Forum.

I'm willing to bet you've already ruled this out, but since you mentioned you started noticing this problem in the winter I thought I'd throw this out there. Are your guides icing up?
