How to remove a stubborn Revo S spool pin?

Post by Finnz922 » Tue Mar 08, 2011 8:10 am

I have worked on 3 Revo S's and each one's spool pin has it's own personality. I am trying to work on one now and the spool pin just won't budge after a certain point. I am making sure that I push in the direction of the large end with a set of spool pin pliers. However once I get the small end flush to the spool shaft and try to pull out the pin I get nothing. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? I'm stuck.

Use a 10 to 16 penny nail and pop the pin on down just a bit, it will pop out.
