Still a slower, more powerful gear ratio, though.e_bassfisher wrote:hmmm. i really do not have a clue. to my knowledge, there was not a 103p released here or in Japan. i do not know of any other lefty reels that would work either....jtakeman wrote:Very nice! How about the STEEZ103HLA lefty? I only see td-z 103p, But no left hand reel to snag the gear set from.

Setup in my TD-100ML. Now to test the heck out of it!!

Since the 6.3 Steez already comes in at 26" (advertised, reality is more like 24-25"), I wonder how much lower the 5.7 TD-Z 100/103ML gearset would go? 2-3" slower possibly?
JJBassnForFun, any follow to your testing with the 5:1 LH gearset? What gearset did you use? Any idea of IPT achieved? That might hit 20-21 I would think... Nice deep CB or SB reel I would say.
I'm checking out other sister reels to see if something else is close. But other projects have me bogged down.78Staff wrote:Good numbers, thanks. Too bad the gearset is no more .
Been beating the fudge out of them with SB and bladed jigs slow rolling over grass. The 100ML is working dandy. The gears I used came from the Millionaire CV-Z203L
How difficult is it to get a gear set?jjbassnforfun wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2019 5:29 amBeen beating the fudge out of them with SB and bladed jigs slow rolling over grass. The 100ML is working dandy. The gears I used came from the Millionaire CV-Z203L
All that is required is to drill the 3 holes to allow main gear and drive gear A to match up..........
I got mine from platadam lancia wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2019 3:26 amHow difficult is it to get a gear set?jjbassnforfun wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2019 5:29 amBeen beating the fudge out of them with SB and bladed jigs slow rolling over grass.
