Another Daiwa SOL ? Baitcaster.....

Post by EFed » Tue Jan 10, 2012 3:59 pm

A while back I bought a used sol and finally got around to breaking it down and cleaning, tuning it and I opened her up and found a RED main gear .............What is with that ? The reel came with a ize yellow spool and a 4 bearing Handle which I just figured was taken of a tdz. Is this a different version of the sol ??

Thanks

Eric

Would that be good......? Is there any difference in the gear, weight, material ? Or is it just red.

Thanks

Eric

EDIT: Finished taking it apart and the gear is much lighter ....nice !
