reel shaking on reel seat
Hi guys, recently I brought shimano expride to pair with my T3 but even if i lock it tight the reel will shift abit when i use some force. I realised only about half of the reel leg is touching the reel seat. any solution?? can i use tape or anything to tape the leg?

Re: reel shaking on reel seat
wrap a piece of blue painters tape around the reel foot where it sits in the seat. This should alleviate any problems with wiggling.

Heat shrinking tube is also a great fix.

I've made little paperboard shims to go under reel seat before, that worked for me

x2. I whole-heartedly agree with Carlos. Heat shrink tubing is black ,so it doesn't show against the reel seat(unless it is a custom-painted seat, that is). It also stops paint from being rubbed off the reel foot.Carlos Carrapiço wrote:Heat shrinking tube is also a great fix.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.
