I have got the basics in general. Just wondering if you fellas will share some tips, tricks or idea's. I got a couple that are heading to the bench this fall after the season is over. But I want to gather parts/tools now to get ready. These are personal reels not for resale!
First is a Citca g. Then a Curado g. Last is an Ardent Edge Tourney.
I mostly have played with Abu, So I need a Source for parts on the Shimano's and Ardent's? So far on the Ardent I have only found parts through Ardent. I have sourced bearings for the Shimano's, But I want to change gears on the CU201g7 to a crankin gear of 5.5 no luck at all on finding them. I thinking I can use the gears from a Chronarch 201e5? Next will be smooth drag washers and some polishing(gears, drag washers-spool shaft). Ardent so far all I can muster is stealing from its siblings for bearings. The polishing I could use tips on?
Anything you have for me would be greatly appreciated! TIA.
