The drag on the Daiwa Lexa 100's SUCK!!!!
Seems like I have to tighten it past 50% of the clicks/distance in order for it start a even, gradual pressure. Basically...the first 50% of the drag is NOTHING/DEAD SPACE.
Anyone experience this with their Lexa 100's...???
Is it possible to swap out the stock drag on a lexa for a multiple washer drag stack of a zillion...???
Drag upgrade Daiwa Lexa 100...???

Re: Drag upgrade Daiwa Lexa 100...???
You could shim it with a washer or two to make it bite sooner. I have done this often with reels that behaved that way. It could even be missing the washer that's supposed to be there on top of the 2 drag washers, which look like () or )( under the drag star.
