Gomexus got some really nice knobs. One glow in the dark and the other translucent. Both with titanium coated caps.

I got their 95mm carbon handle with these knobs in black (DRT copies) for my Z2020. They feel so much better than your standard I shaped knobs from Daiwa when using large baits.
Why is that? I'm looking into getting into big baits and never understood the relationship between big knobs and big baits.

Also how is the carbon handle? They look more like Daiwa style handles instead of the ZPI copies of the Ray's Studio handles. I'm thinking of picking a few up. The Gomexus stuff seems real high quality. Ray's remindes me of OEM carbon handles styled after ZPI. The Gomexus stuff actually looks very high end but is still affordable.

More reel porn of the Gomexus handle.

You have a much better grip with high resistance lures. I don't just use mine for bass but musky as well. A 3oz bucktail with #6-7 blades has a lot of resistance.

The carbon handle is better than any other chinese handles i've tried, but its not on par (finish wise) with Daiwa/Ize Factory/SLP/RCS.

The handle you got for your mono is what i wanted to get for my z2020 (except i was gonna get it with the large rubber grips i posted above. Not a fan of metal knobs). I asked the seller if a bolt is also included so i could use it on my Z, and the seller said no. Which isn't right?

I got mine off Amazon and it came with a bolt and both a Shimano and Daiwa nut. There was no option to select Shimano or Daiwa ect.

New Tatula spools. 6.18 grams. Air brake with black inductor. $33. They come in different sizes to fit the SV CT, CT/100 and 100 SV reels. Got a silver one for my Tatula CT SV on the way.
LowRange, have you tried your spool yet? IF so, how do you like it?

I ordered two spools for my Tatula SV TWs (TTUSV103XS) on 8/20 and 13days later 9/2 they arrived. I just spooled one of them up and am heading to the pond to see how it performs. I am trying it on a Tsurinoya Proflex II 632UL.

added FISH pictures

I hit the park for 30mins, I was casting a cuttail worm and caught six, lost a couple. then I got too sweaty and went home...

I've got the one in for the old Tatula SV reels. It seems very nice but the inductor is prone to sticking with just spool flicks at high mag dual. A stiffer spring may be needed.

Can you confirm that the Gomexus carbon handle knob shafts will take Daiwa/Shimano knobs?

Won't work with Daiwa knobs. Dunno about Shimano, but the knob shaft does look similar to Shimano shafts.

Daiwa and Shimano posts are the same diameter, but Shimano posts are longer. There are some OEM handles floating around out there that have the same diameter posts, but are even shorter than Daiwa posts.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

You tried to fit Daiwa knobs to the handle and they wouldn't fit? The handle came with the Yumeya style metal knobs and you changed them correct?

The knob sits too high, you cannot use it. The handle i have came with DRT style rubber knobs, not yumeya. The lower side of the knob needs to be deep than what they're on daiwa (which will only accept a bearing). They're deeper on Shimano that's why i said they might be compatible, but i haven't tested myself.

Yea, i am aware. The knob sits too high. Won't work unless you change the post itself.

The Daiwa knobs sit too high because they won't side all the way down the Gomexus posts or because the posts are too short?

There's like a bushing that you cannot remove (similar to what Alphas Ito handles has) in the lower part of the post, that's why you won't be able to fit in a beating.

So did you try a Daiwa knob without a bearing in the bottom of the knob, just like the alphas Ito handle?
