Steez A HLC
The silver spool from ebay seller is a nice match.
The Steez A HLC uses the old type 36mm spool? Or are you talking about a different spool?
Yes. The TD Zillion and Steez A HLC are narrow spool 36mm. There is also an Amo spool for the wide spool 36mm reels such as the later Zillion HLCs, 1516 Ryoga ect. Here is the link to the $64 TD Zillion narrow 36mm spool. SDS on Ebay also has then but want $100 for them.

Wait, the silver 36mm spool does NOT fit the Zillion HLC, but it does fit the Steez A HLC? That doesn't sound right. I'm asking because another member here says that it does fit the og Ziilion.

This fits the steez A hlc:

I guess this fits the TD Zillion TW HLC 1514-1516 and the 1520 Ryoga:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/254910075560
At least I hope it does, as I have two spools incoming.

Maybe I use a wrong nomenclature. Let me know 🤗
That ebay link is for the wide spool 36mm old tatula based Zillions. That won't for the old narrow spool 36mm TD Zillions. Nice find though. There are at least 3 Aliexpress spools that fit those reels. Ray's, Amo/SDS and some 3rd air brake one.
There are two ebay links.

One link for a narrow 36 mm “zillion 100” spool, which fits the steez a hlc. I have used this spool in the steez a hlc where it works great. This is the first spool of this size that I own. I have a aliexpress spool (amo) in same size incoming.

Another link for a wide 36 mm “zillion 1514/1516/1520 and ryoga 1520”. I have two of those incoming and already have some of the other diy spools for this platform. In addition I have the “nicefish t36” on the way.

Just received a new 30mm MOMO/AMO spool for my ct's today and they've made a few changed since my last one in 2019. Inductor has been redesigned, its thinner, lighter and spool is definitely a bit quicker. Bearing is better quality, the bearing insert looks to be the same but this bearing is much smoother than the last factory one. Weight with bearing has dropped from 5.38g for the old to 4.73g on the new.

Are there other Chinese tuning spools than Ray's with movable inductors?

I have three Ray's spools and one Roro. I like fixed inductors for 3g and lower casting weigh, but the reason why I use Daiwa low profile baitcasters (and an 16 Aldebaran BFS) is because of the braking profiles of the movable inductors.

Same reel and line. Same spool but in purple. This one is too fast in the SS SV105.
I got the Amo fixed inductor deep spool for my SSSV105. Tried it out and not good. Brakes at max and the spool would not behave. I had to use spool tension to keep from blowing it up. Very disappointing. The color is purple.

I did the Ray inductor upgrade to a SSSV103 spool and love the results. The spool casts much better and is very well behaved.

My red one is fine oddly. I did lot of frog bombing with that one so maybe that is why it was better behaved. The purple one have been used mostly with small cranks and soft baits and has been a real pain in the rear. The SS/old Steez reels have weak magnets. Both spools and the Ray's long cast behave fine in an IS reel. Not sure how they would fare in a TD-Z.

That spool would do well in a TDZ, due to stronger magnets. It does well in that IS because the IS also has stronger magnets vs the Steez.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

I would really like to know more about the Zillion TWS spools, especially that one on eBay. The previously available spool for the Zillion TWS really woke mine up, the one with holes and a shallow capacity. With 30lb braid it made one hell of a topwater or finesse casting reel. It does occasionally have a raspy sound, but other than that performance is great. That $100 version is much lighter though. Just curious if anyone has had similar results or tried the other DIY spools available for the larger 1516 or 1520 Zillion TWS.

What is everybody's opinion on the AMO 30mm Alphas/Steez/Millionaire CT spool? I have one on order and curious as to what I should expect from a performance standpoint. I typically fish for trout and it appears to be like a good spool for that. I plan to spool it with some 8lb J-Braid. I'm currently using the SV700S in my Alphas CT.

That same spool is on Aliexpress for cheaper. Nice fish brand I think.

28mm deep long cast spools it either an air brake or fixed inductor. For when you bought a BFS reel by mistake?
