Reel mechanic?

Post by Frosty » Tue Mar 22, 2016 1:37 pm

I was wondering who all on the board works on reels. I'm looking to do a few simple upgrades to some reels...internals/gearing, stuff I'm not comfortable doing. I know one name in particular always comes up...and I have no doubt he's really good. I'm just curious if TT has a list, or if they're others on the board who work on reels? Seems like it would be in high demand on here.

Thanks guys

The list on here is pretty short, and understandably so. Ian does great work and has some good contacts so if you're looking for hard to find parts, he's the guy.

I do a good bit of reel work. Pike Road Reel Service.

Ian is without a doubt, the best out there. He is a magician of sorts.

Anyone you would recommend for servicing spinning reels in the good ol' US of A?

Looking to make my TD-Ito spinning reel great again (pun intended)
