Type R spool won't fit ???
Type R spool won't fit ???
Hi all, i just brought a 103 type R used spool, but it won't fit either OG Zillion or TD-Z 105HL.
The length of shaft (bearing side) extend 1mm than TD-Z 105HL stock spool.
It's Type R+ 103 spool?
TD-S 105HL, TD-Z 105HL & 103 Type R+
Anyone experience before?

Re: Type R spool won't fit ???
That would be an I'ze Light Type-R 103 spool. The Millionaire 34mm spools have a slightly longer shaft than a standard 34mm spool.

Mean i have nothing can do to fit other than Millionaire reel?Teal101 wrote:That would be an I'ze Light Type-R 103 spool. The Millionaire 34mm spools have a slightly longer shaft than a standard 34mm spool.

Re: Type R spool won't fit ???
To my knowledge that is correct. The Millionaire spool has the longer shaft and the pinion gear and pinion shaft will not allow it to work. A standard 34mm will fit in a Millionaire with a longer pinion shaft to compensate for the lack of spool shaft length.yplee33 wrote:Mean i have nothing can do to fit other than Millionaire reel?Teal101 wrote:That would be an I'ze Light Type-R 103 spool. After a night of research, confirmed that spool is from Millionaire Light103Teal101 wrote:To my knowledge that is correct. Bottom of the bearing come with a small black washer
Since already brought it, the only thing can do just swap the type R inductor set to TD-Z spool......

Or you can see if you can trade the spool for one you want. I'm sure there must be someone looking for that spool...

The rotor on the left is Type R+ & on the right is normal Type R?
The rotor on the right should be more lighten than the left?

Left side is the R+ and right is the R, the R+ has the small ring around the base of the cone.
