Looking for a drag star BNT1321

Post by lifeofRiley » Thu Dec 08, 2016 7:27 am

This is the drag star for an old pearl Chronarch 100A. Have looked on the web a little bit and haven't seen any. Was wondering if there have been any superceding part numbers from a reel that came later. Thanks.

That part is not available as far as I know.

You might want to try the BNT2355 from the CH100 MG. I am convinced it would fit, although I have never actually done a swap.

Check out https://www.southwesternparts.com/code/orderparts.php3.

Give the guys there a call and ask them for their input.

Thanks Terry. I Think I have a japanese version of the CH100MG at home, so I can test out the drag star to see if it'll fit. I didn't lose my original part but it is scuffed up and looks pretty rough so I wouldn't mind buying a new one.

Drag stars http://iob.imgur.com/uYGg/avqCjxGbZy

If you check out this link to a pic I just took, you'll notice that although the drag stars(ch100a & scorpion metanium mg) are nearly identical, there is a small hole drilled in the front face of the star from the ch100a. This hole allows a small post from the click gear (bnt1319) to drop into it and thus lock into place. The drag stars were both interchangeable as far as matching up on the opposite reels drive shaft, but with the click gear issue I will not be ordering a star from a ch100mg for my 100a.

I can see that now that you point it out. Would be a simple fix to drill a hole in the drag star. Not ideal, but, would be perfectly fine.

Thanks LOR =D>
