C clip removal tool

Took the straight handle tire plug tool you buy at Auto part stores modify it took the c clip off in seconds

I use a bitty precision flat blade screw driver. Place the little blade in one of the slots and twist.. bingo.

that works! Also could use a larger size sewing needle...pointed end or loop end. Most importantly, put part of your other hand next to the clip so you can grab it before it flies away, to avoid.... :doh: :crying:

Do the removal and reinstall inside a large Ziploc baggie, and you won't lose anything.

The clip with the slots is an "e" clip.

Thanks ShimanoFan, I was thinking the same thing about the difference between e and c clips, just too lazy to post pics. I can get e clips off no problem, but don't know how to handle c clips?
