Hello everyone,

After looking for baitcaster upgrade forum's I came across tackletour and had to join.

I just purchased a shimano cardiff 100 and would like to upgrade bearings and drag washers. Do yall have any recommendations over certain parts over another?

Another question I have is, what stops me from putting a 100A spool and shaft into the 100 frame? The 100A spool has a bearing on the spool i believe, thoughts?

Did you ever finish your upgrades?
I would also recommend getting a longer handle.
I hate the short handles that come on those reels.
