Og zillion w/ spacers vs sv103: 34mm spools

Anyone notice a difference between the 2 with the the same 34mm spool? My friend said spools with short inductors may not reach far enough with the spacer. Thoughts?

That shouldn't matter. The number is the diameter of the spool, not the width.
