Help!! Reel Question

I was using a Daiwa Steez type reel when something sounded fishy
Or abnormal and when I opened up the reel the secondary ring just fell out.

Before all this I have spooled up the reel with 8lb test lime and couldn’t get the spool under control and now since I put the ring back in I have far too much control as in I can have the mag dial off and still can’t get an over run
I’m not sure of the markings and alignment of this ring.
Any suggestions

Do you mean one of the magnets fell out? If so, there are a few threads on here documenting how to fix that. The quick and dirty is that you need to crank the mag dial to max, then use super glue to reattach the magnet. There is a small notch in each magnet, line those up then hold it there until the glue sets. I've had to do a few and they've held up fine since the repair.
