Steez 105 LTD casting issues

Got a vid here. This sound is present everytime I cast with any force. When the magnetic brake is set to higher it gets even louder and it does this throughout the entire cast.

When I set the brake to 0, it only makes the sound on the initial, most forceful part of the cast. It's hampering casting distance.

Sounds like a clutch yoke or spring issue. Like the pinion is not fully retracting from the spool.

^^^I think this as well^^^

That sounds like a pinion not full disengaged from the pin and spool.

Did you do a recent service on it? Is the yoke upside down?

I think it's the yoke, as well. If a spring pops out of place, the yoke won't keep the pinion gear fully meshed to the spool pin.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Yeppers.

In this case, it's during the cast, so the pinion gear shouldn't be meshed to the spool pin. Sounds like not enough clearance of the pinion from the spool/pin.

Yoke is in there correctly. It only goes on 1 way in this reel. Doesnt appear to be worn. Springs are lll good.

I did notice a tab on the inductor spool holder broke off, I'm going to replace this to see if it helps.

Ah, good catch! That may be the culprit right there.

Confirmed. It was the plastic piece in the inductor
