New shimano spinning reel line-up release?

I'm still waiting for my local tackle store to get the new Shimano lineup. I've got a Sustain and Stradic MgFB on order.. was wondering when the new reels will be released.

Some have started shipping this week, and the rest will ship next month. The Sustain 2500FE models have shipped currently. The Stradic MGFB will ship next month.

Do you know if the Twinpower or Twinpower Mg's will be revamped as well?

I'm not sure when they will see the redesign. I looked at the current SIC catalog and I do not see them listed. They might be later this year? I'm not sure as we do not receive this info here at Shimano US.

cabelas has the new stradic, stradic mg, sustain and stella. tacklewarhouse has the new stella.

With the big gap in price difference, I wonder what the difference is b/w the Stradic MgFB and the Stradic FI!!! I've still got my Sustain 3000 on order with my local tackle store... can't wait to get it!!!

The difference is the Magnesium frame of the MGFB vs. the FI model. The FI model has an aluminum frame. The Magnesium is slightly more expensive as raw material and we use a surface treatment to protect against corrosion. This adds to the cost of production.
