If the Curado 200 was a little bit smaller.....

Post by progressive816 » Wed Sep 19, 2007 9:19 pm

I feel that if the Curado 200 series with HEG were just a bit smaller (like a Core 100 or Chronarch 100B) that they can marginally sell more units.

The Citica 200D that I used to own was one heck of a reel and I'm sure the Curado is too, but It was just too bulky. :(

Are there any future production plans to implement the Core frame or another smaller HEG version into the Curado product life cycle?

I cannot discuss future plans unfortunately.

That'd be REAL nice if they did! I've been begging for a smaller HEG equipped reel with burner gears at a moderate price range for a long time now. No doubt a reel like this would sell like crazy..

If they do, just go ahead and send me 5 of them. That would retty much cover my Texas rigs and jigs.

Although the new Curado 200s are big reels, they have never once felt too big OR uncomfortable to me. I bet they would sell a lot more of them if they were a little smaller though.

Yes indeedee...

Carnies will appreciate smaller HEGs. :P (As would I).

BTW, lighter alum gears would be nice as well.
