How abt a Core 100 and the new Cumara CUCSBX72MH. It's rated to 1 1/4 oz so it should handle your spinnerbaits no problem.

I run a G.Loomis SBR864 with a Shimano Chronarch 200E7. Thinking about going with a new Cumara in the 6'10XF or 7'2

Right now I'm using a CRCX68M, older style, paired with a CH50E. I use a Citica 100DSV sometimes. Looking to update rod. What line do you guys use? ,Thanks.

I think it depends on the cover you are fishing. I use 12# in little to no cover when i want that spinnerbait down deep. Otherwise I use 15-20# FC.

I find that Fluoro is not too forgiving, so have stuck to mono, Stren Magnathin 20# , for spinnerbaits. Would love to use braid, but hate how it winds around the rod tip sometimes.

Big fan of spinnerbaits here also so I'll add my line too, I've always thrown Spinnerbaits on Fluoro. 15lb Sunline FC Sniper, that line was too soft and stretchy, broke the line twice while snapping weeds off the bait...won't use FC in the heavier class's again because it's just to soft. Broke 20lb twice on hooksets pitching jigs...sticking with braid for the cover.

I spooled up 20lb Steez Fluorocarbon and haven't looked back on the spinnerbait rod.

I throw blades mostly on straight 50 lb braid in and around weeds, or with a 10 ft 20 lb leader in crystal clear waters for smalljaws
