Lefty Curado I availability?

It's strictly based on demand and production schedules. The factory can only build so many reels per month. Since the demand is so high for the RH models they had to try and catch up. This is almost always the case with new models. The LH come 1-2 months later.

I was just recently at the Suffern, NY World Fishing Expo, which had the large Shimano booth and a bunch of reps. I was inquiring about purchasing a lefty from one of the vendors on hand there. One of the reps got me whoever was in charge of the booth and he said very matter of factly that the reels are built, and shipped, but currently stuck in customs. He couldn't give me an ETA, but said he didn't anticipate it being overly long seeing as how once they clear customs its a matter of days to the various retailers.

Is this a complete fabrication or is that the current state of affairs?

sometimes Canada gets things "first" (as big of a change that is)....

we got the green nrx's before they were supposed to be out.

maybe the left curado's will be the same.
