Last time I was in touch with my Shimano contact he told me the end of April, that was at the Classic Expo though so quite old info. I checked with "my guy" at the tackle shop about 3 weeks ago and he said that Shimano told him they flat didn't know when they'd be available so who knows?? I'm still excited to actually pick one of these up but now I'm thinking it might take so long that Shimano will introduce something else new that I'll want more. When is ICAST this year by the way?
I want to start by saying I have ZERO "inside knowledge" on what I'm about to throw out there it's 100% just a feeling I have but I'm thinking Shimano may introduce new Crucial rods. What do you guys think?

I just talked to Tackle Direct, they said late MAY.
Only 3 months after the official release date.

Man, I preordered one in February thinking I would have it for spring fishing. Instead I had to pick up some other reels otherwise I would have missed out on time on the water

They are due in at the end of this month, but it is an anticipated date. The factory runs on production schedules so we have to wait until they are completed. Trust me we are trying to get them as quickly as possible.

Shimano Days yesterday at local store and they had 0 Curado I reels and rep. had no idea when lefties or righties would be available.

Righties are already out and not to hard to find. I know of three places here that have righties sitting on the shelf for sale.

This store sold out of righties and they have been trying to get more for a month now.

BPS looks like they have some 5.x:1 and 6.x:1 righties in stock.

A guy on BBC just posted that his lefties were delivered this morning. Didn't say where he had them ordered from but had the pics of them in the box. Maybe you guys wont have to wait much longer.

he posted he got them here....but maybe just preorders were sent out..doesn't look like any lefty left in stock...
