A few weeks ago I posted about an incident that happened when I sent my reel in for service.
I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to Doug Bouse from Shimano for replacing
the ceramic bearings that were taken out of the reel at the time of service.
Thank you Doug I really appreciate it.

Regards

Nice to hear, surprising for sure. I've sent in some reels to them, always happy when they return.

Agreed. Too, they make the best reels and some fairly decent rods.

I love the reels, but I am not a big fan of their rods not yet anyway.

I've been using Shimano reels on Gloomis rods ... cannot go wrong with these combos.
Their support is second to none.

Best reels on planet and their rod blanks are G
Loomis. Seems like it was 5 years ago they bought them out.
