The new 100 is almost the same as the old 50 ... it casts a lot better.

Hey arrowslinger1- No, at this time there isn't a plan to release a 50 size version of the Conquest. May I ask what specific technique or application you think a 50 would help you with? I'd be glad to pass this information along to the product development team. Thanks!

Kurt, I have used my Conquest 50's for T-Rigs, Jigs, Shallow Cranks, Spinnerbaits, Beetle Spins, etc etc and they would make a fine reel for the little Keitech paddle tail swimbaits. I have 3 Conquest 50's now. 2 regular and a DC version. Both of the regular Conquest 50's have Avail Shallow Spools and one is on a Major Craft MS-X Limited BFS Rod and eventually it will be used for Drop Shot and the other is on a Shimano Cardiff Trout Rod and I use it for throwing tiny cranks. The DC is mounted on a Shimano Poison Glorious 166L Hardbait Finesse and I use it for small cranks, top water, spinnerbaits and for throwing Super Flukes.

John,

Have you tried the new Conquest 100 yet? If yes, tell me why you think 50 is better?

I do not own the new Conquest 100 but I have owned the old Conquest 100. I like the 50 better because it is smaller and lighter.
