Baitrunner 4500B tension dial substitute?
Baitrunner 4500B tension dial substitute?
On my baitrunner 4500B, the baitrunner tension dial (RD3021) and the tension screw (RD3019) are stuck together. I can't get them to move at all. I would like to replace those two parts. I can still get the tension screw as it is still in use in the current baitrunner model. My question is that can I use any of the current knob as substitute for the RD3021 as it is discontinued and very hard to find. Also, what is this 11026 part in the schmatic that's my in the part list and not in the my reel. I bought my reel used. Thank you for your time.

The dial and tension screw are threaded together. It should unscrew from the dial. These parts have been discontinued. I suggest trying our service centers to see if any have the parts you need. The dealers in the SE or try Southwestern Parts & Service.

I should have mentioned before they are frozen tightly together, can't turn left or right. I'll check with the part dealers. Thank you for the info.

Try soaking it in some warm water with a little windex. The knob is plastic and the other piece is stainless. The salt should break up and you will be able to get them apart. Windex has ammonia which will neutralize the salt.
