Thumb Bar Stuck

I have a ‘15 Conquest 100 and the thumb Bar is stuck. I can’t press it to go into free spool. What is the issue? Thanks.

More than likely corrosion on the pinion bearing or X-ship bearing has caused the pinion gear to get stuck.

Thanks. Sounds like like I’ll have to send it over to Shimano for service.
