Long shot, but curious if the spools regarding the reels in title are interchangeable.

A spool for a DC reel will only work in the DC reel. Using a spool from a non DC model will not work unless you do not want to use the DC system. There is no way to modify a DC spool to work in a non DC model.

Sorry I didn't catch that MD was for Monster Drive. I will ask. I seem to remember there was a difference but I will find out.

The spool from the Monster Drive will not work in the Antares DC. They are different diameters.
