New Stradic long stroke spool?

Hey Bantam,
Can you confirm what "long stroke spool" means i.e. is it taller like a Stella has always been; or is it the same spool height as all other Shimano spinners except for the Stella?

If it is the taller spool this reel will be awesome.

That's awesome! I really like the taller spool of the Stella it's cool to see it on a "budget" spinning reel now.

Yes just a taller spool. The concept is less friction on the line as it comes off the spool. It is a noticeable difference when casting the Stella compared to other models. Now the feature is on the Stradic. The new Stradic is really nice.
