What drag washers used in other reels will fit the SLX. Want to go Carbon Tex. Thanks for the help.

I'm not sure which cross carbon washers from our products will work. I haven't tried to install any yet. I'll talk to the engineer when he arrives. He will probably know.

It depends on the gear ratio. If you have an XG you can use the drag washer from the Curado 70XG. For standard and HG you will need to use the washers from the Curado 200I or 200IHG.

Put them in and they fit like a glove. An angler on another site said he could only use the drag inside the drive gear because the bottom drag was "too thick". Wrong, same thickness as factory drag.

The internet is full of experts. YouTube has several experts too. I cringe at some gear reviews I watch knowing that a lot of what is said is incorrect.
