I couldn't really tell the difference between the handle and knob between the two as you asked. If you wanted the 300e knobs on the 200D handle or the whole 300e handle assembly on the 200D which I did in the end.

I think it finishes up nicely as the gold accent on the 300e handle matches the gold on the 200D.

The length is only a fraction longer on the 300e handle which will help, whoever put a short handle on the 200D from factory - criminal...

I'm going to keep the knobs the same. I'm however going to put the 201DHSV handle on my 100D reel, I like the wider knobs of the 200DHSV for the 100D.

Those little OE Technical knobs that come on the 100D are only good for some reels, or those I want to keep stock in display. I've been changing out all my used reels power knobs that come on 200 size reels to those found on the Antares / Metanium / Chronarch G series reels - good middle ground and don't go bad like the original Shepton rubber.

A little extra handle length and a comfortable knob set makes a world of difference.

Thank you Slazmo, I have the 301E handle on my 201DHSV! No problems with installation. And I switched to 201DHSV handle to my 101D reel and again, no problems.
