what is your confidence swimbait?
I'm gonna be non-original and say the hudd. Ofcourse this may change if everyone and their brother keep throwing it.
Re: what is your confidence swimbait?
Good Question..... for me the baby wake or Wake Bait jr is tied on every trip.. I know if I can get them to come up they will hit that bait... for within the water column I always have a triple trout tied on.. Hopefully this fall I will be able to get out and throw the hudds... Not having more then two solid swimbait seasons I'm still bringing different baits out to try almost every trip so I don't have that bait that I can say for the last X years has consistently produced quality bites..

matt lures trout and triple trout. The hudd doesn't always do it... especially when they want a more active eratic presentation.
Re: what is your confidence swimbait?
tough question. 2 years ago I would of said the Matt gill, but right now I'm in a wake bait phase.
wake jr, and shellcracker's are hard to put down.
I use to have 1 swimbait rod on deck , now there's 3-5.
Bottom Line If I was to leave the house for fun with one bait it would be a wake jr.

ya you know it really depends on the type of year but hudds cover that winter through spring time of year when the big girls are out munchin' at the buffetbigfish2 wrote:matt lures trout and triple trout. The hudd doesn't always do it... especially when they want a more active eratic presentation.
summer tends to be all about big topwater and like you said a more eratic presentation....there's not much that beats out the triple trout!
Re: what is your confidence swimbait?
^ exactly. When the water warms up especially during the post spawn I will not throw anything but the TT.
Re: what is your confidence swimbait?
Triple Trout is the one I'll throw when I wanna just fish. Sometimes I leave the house to walk around a local lake (around 100 acres) and I'll just bring my swimbait rod and the 6" and 7" TT's.

Re: what is your confidence swimbait?
My confidence swimbait is the Triton Mike Bull Shad. Of course size, sink rate, and color using depends on time of year, water clarity, and etc.

In sissy? How did that work out for you on your trip?bronzefly wrote:Now it is the 3:16 Freestyle Shad
My confidence bait right now is the baitsmith magnum trout. My other would have to be the wake jr. I think that bait may get retired though when I get my OG wake back from Brock!
