With or without boat?

Boat with electronics and stuff would be around 10-12k

Fishing rods and reels would be around 8-10k

Tackle and miscellaneous tools and stuff would be another 2-3k

I say I'm at around 20k for all fishing related stuff

Fishing can be costly.. although people happily drop 100K on a car so why not downsize the engine and spend half of that on JDM gear! :)

Rod/reel value was almost $5,000 until I decided I needed a nice AR-15 and sold a few combos. Now it's around $3,500.

Probably another $500-$700 in tackle.

Kind of a lightweight around these parts

Rough estimate 15k to 18k ouch......

I know ive spent at least 4k this year alone on fishing gear, sea eagle pontoon, bait, few new rods n reel.

I would say that it is close to 15K (Not including the boat or the truck) :D

Around $2500. Don't have a lot of set-ups, but they all do their job well. 8-)

Rough estimate for my fishing gear including electronics and not counting my boat I'd be in the $8.5K to $9.0K range.

Man, I just started fishing about 6 weeks ago and just noticed that I have around $2k dumped into this already...

I even traded a pistol for an ice house, haha.

I would have said roughly $20000 worth of reels and rods but I just added things up on a spreadsheet and I'm up to $27000. That doesn't count a lot of upgrades (close to $1000 just in OS bearings), numerous extra spools, and thousands more in lures. I feel like an old drunk. I keep telling my wife and myself "this is my last purchase". But if I see another I'ZE Light I feel it has to be mine... as a back-up in case the first three get scratched. It never ends. But at least the addiction is mostly confined to fishing tackle.

A tad over $1K myself, I only have a few rods I use, a decent amount of tackle, and a portable fish finder for ice fishing (which will be used for regular fishing purposes once I do get a boat).

Tough to put a price on some items that are priceless to me. But if I had to, I would say around 15-17k would be a decent guess.
