Online for me. I have Walmart and Scheels, so not much of a selection.

Even then, it's mainly walleye gear, which I personally don't care for.

Online all the way. Sometimes, tax free and almost always the case, better deals than local tackle shop.

It sucks but the local shops don't have what I'm usually after

If it isn't at Walmart, then I buy online UNLESS a local tackle shop is having a holiday sale, then the price is close to Walmart and online so I will buy from them.

I actually don't think I save much by buying online though, since I swear I ALWAYS spend more than I should, since I get suckered into spending $50 to get free shipping, even though I truly only need $15 worth of stuff.

On line, yes. Where else can you get what you want? Surely not what you need!

It's difficult to find more than the basics in the PNW as retailers won't commit shelf space to bass related items when the greatest market is salmon, trout and steelhead. That forces consumers like me to go on line for any decent selection. Most anglers don't understand how hard it is for sporting goods stores to make it. The inventory ratio to square feet of space is extremely high to provide selection and seasonal demand. On line retailers have a huge customer base. My experience buying online has been very good and the company I buy from is the reason for that.

I LOVE Dicks! They have great sales on fishing items at least once a month. And the Dicks where I live are HUGE. They are so much bigger than the Dicks I remember from high school. No matter how many times I go, I get so excited when I see Dicks.

The DSG where I live has a pretty good selection of rods and reels. I would never buy a rod and reel online after the horror stories I hear with the shipping (prices, and how the postal workers handle it )

It depends. If something that I never used before then heck no, I buy local.

Please has anyone used this store?
tokyofishingexpress.jp? I haven't found any reviews. Thanks!
