Looks like there's a ton of love for the senko and fluke. Right now it seems like I can't put down a tube jig, having a lot of luck with those and hula grubs.

Uljersey I almost missed your post. I was thinking about using a bell sinker on my tubes, where did you find those? Love the idea.

They're skinny drop shot weights with the eye opened up by forcing a small tapered pick through it. You can get them in lead or tungsten. They can be trimmed with side cutters to reduce the weight if needed.

If the end of the day is nearing and I just want to catch a fish, I'll turn to a flick shake worm. If all else fails a split shot rig usually does the trick.

Definitely a Senko will always put in at least 1 fish in the boat for me.

I don't really have one. I go out and fish what I feel like throwing. I either catch fish or I don't.

I like the Senko but they are too heavy for some of my fishing. In those cases I prefer the Zoom Trick Worm.

Hmm. It's hard to pick one. I've simplified my tackle so I only carry what I have the most confidence in. I'll try new stuff here and there always have these..

4 or 5" senko weightless

Super Fluke Jr weightless, split shot, c rig or dropshot

Roboworm 4" Alive Shad trigged weed less with up to a 1/8oz weight, split shot, c rig or drop shot.

Don't dismiss these because your grandfather used them in the 70's ... you may be pleasantly surprised how well you do with them.
Rig them on a 1/8 jig head and you have a morsel sized swimbait.

Honestly, I've had a ton of luck on small paddle tails. Seems like downsizing, and using the "old school" baits are working better on my hometown lake than anything. Tubes, grubs, you name it; think the fish are getting tired of seeing shakey heads and jigs

Fluke in watermelon red flake or avocado red tail along with a wacky rigged Senko in green pumpkin are my go-to's.

It is rare that I can't catch something on a white and chartreuse terminator t1 spinnerbait. Bigger is usually better.

If the fish are hitting faster baits, use willow blades and maybe remove the skirt and put your favorite swimbait on the hook instead and burn it.

The Molix Lover has caught me a ton of nice fish too and is fun to fish.
