Helix 5 si on my dads tracker is hard to read.

Would be perfect for my kayak. 7 inch minimum for front deck or console

The auto chart stuff does seem to be the way to go. I bought Navionics plus and the lake maps are super weak. I was up on eagle lake and the locals marked reefs with steaks and jugs 30yrs ago. Was there any of those reefs on the maps.. nope. It's puzzling. Even on my local lakes I have to throw way points everywhere to mark underwater humps and such. Maybe lake master is better but I'm guessing they get their maps from the same source. Sorry to hijack the thread. It's just frustrating you spend a bunch of money and I'm towing way points everywhere like I was 10yrs ago
