J Dream 6.3 lefty, Presso/SPR hybrid, some cheap rods (though I'll probably just keep them for pond duty or friends to use)

Quite a few NIB reels, plenty of rods not worth selling because of shipping costs, a slew of hardbaits, and swim baits.

I have the same problem, but love the reel so much I use it anyway. Right now it's on a guide select swim bait rod for tossing Matt lures and savage gear gills and trout. A guy I fish with sometimes in Chattanooga has one of the newer edge rods with lowered reelseat. Almost like the old Loomis weibe seats. That's is the most comfortable rod I've felt with the z on it, but I just can't afford one right now since I spent all my extra money on aetos, max 3d, and tatula rods on sale for around 100 each. I Prefer higher end rods but i just couldnt pass thise deals up

Calais 200 Mg5
Aldebaran BFS XG
Steez 103 HA
Quantum PT Tour TE 100HPT

Bought all these reels for a bargain price and looking to sell them on. Should cover the price of a new MGL. =D>

What have found is that on the old crucial rods, the grip is just right for me. Those rods are no longer made but I have a Z200 on
the crucial 7'6" flippn stick. When I am using the MBPV and the Z2020sh I have my hand more on the hood than anything and its okay for a while, sometimes i dont even think about it. Still there arent any other rods that have a comfort with this reel. I am going to try my 2016 legend elite and see how that reel seat feels with that reel. I'll give you a status update.

Used the ST. Croix LE 2016 model and the Z with this rod is rather comfortable for me. Suprisingly , but nonetheless I dont have pains.. I went out for a couple hours today on the water, couple fish, lots of wind and better than sitting on sofa.

Went looking through my boat to reorganize and I could probably get rid of some of the plastics breeding in the boat.
I a lot but seems like I bought twice more...yuck.. I don't have any rods on the shelf but I am looking to a new steez rod maybe.
