Reel cover
I'm looking for reel covers and was about to buy a bunch of tackle warehouse covers but saw a few reviews saying they bled on the reel and stained them. Has anyone here had an issue with this? I have some reels that aren't black and wouldn't want this to happen.
Also looking at the reel glove. Any issues with that cover?

Re: Reel cover
Don't buy those ones because they don't protect the handle. Buy the Daiwa type ,they cover the handle=more protection.
Re: Reel cover
The shimano reel covers work good too.

Re: Reel cover
Yeah, they look nice but I forgot to mention I have daiwa reels. Might give someone a heart attack. I actually just got my steez and really like the cover that came with it except you have to remove the lure first.

Re: Reel cover
Punch a couple holes in them with one of those rotary hole punch tools to allow the reel to breathe - people put them away wet and corrosion / mildew will start to set in.

I'm not worried about the handles, does it protect the frame/body well?

Yes- covers the entire reel well and the handle sticks out.chrisg_sdcf wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2019 2:28 pmI'm not worried about the handles, does it protect the frame/body well?

Re: Reel cover
Cool, I have a Sol, Fuego, and sv103 that I'd rather didn't end up with black bleeding on them (mostly the orange Sol)medicpelle wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 8:41 pmYes, pixy's and Alphaschrisg_sdcf wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2019 2:29 pmAny silver or light colored reelsmedicpelle wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2019 6:56 amI have used the TW covers for years and never had any problems.

Re: Reel cover
Ended up going with the reel glove for my setups. I found a bunch of steez covers but it wasn't worth $15 each to me compared to $6
