Thanks for all the info.

So now I have a real probelm ->

I am fishing an Angler Choice Pro Am (Delta) and I qualify for the Dobyns rods promo (buy 1 get 1 free).

So I am thinking:

DX744c

but not sure about the other rod: DX745C, DX784ML, DX742SF?????? :-k

Not sure what to get as the 2nd rod.

Please pipe in...

I find the DX784C to be one of my most versatile rods. I primarily use it for unweighted and weighted plastics (Senkos, creatures, etc.), weighted paddletails, and jigs upto 1/2 oz plus trailer. But, it can cast a 1/4oz lure almost as well as my DX742 on the "low end".

I ended up getting the DX744c and the DX742SF. Almost got the DX745C but I talked to them and they said it was more like the Champ 735C (tip and weight wise) than a beefier 744. Lots of good info on the DX795 also...
