Which is your favorite rod company?

Dobyns all the way

I used to have nothing but Loomis on the deck but have slowly been switching over to Dobyns or Phenix. Loomis are great but the the quality control has gone down in the last few years. Dobyns are very well balanced at a more attractive price point. Also their service is great. I'm still keeping a couple of my Loomis because the action of certain models can't be duplicated. I love my MBR842 & MBR782's in GLX and wouldn't trade those for anything.

Right now its Loomis. I have Loomis, St Croix, Powell, Shimano, and will have a Dobyns soon, Can't wait to try the Dobyns, with all the good reviews on here.
Have to say that I just looked at the site for the Colmic rods and they look sharp, even though i've never heard of them before reading this thread.

I now use Denali exclusively. They are lightweight, sensitive and quality built.

I have had to opportunity to use many different rods from the different manufacturers and my vote goes to Denali Rods, hands down one of the best I have used. Well built, great sensitivity and just an all around great product!!
If you have not tried these rods, give them a try, you may want to change your vote...

I like a lots of brands but i can´t test all of them , now i use Major Craft. I´ve seen that you prefer the Dobyns rods I´ve never used i would like to buy one

Kistler Z-Bone. I currently own G. Loomis and St. Croix rods as well as Kistlers, but the new Z-Bones are the best rods I've ever used.

Loomis for me. A Loomis GLX was responsible for landing the Biggest largemouth in history. Nuf said

I went with St. Croix. They are what I own the most of and I think there warranty policies are the deal clincher because I buy a lot of used rods.

I've never held a Dobyn's or a Powell.
