I seldom buy a factory rod. I much prefer fishing with my own builds. I only build for myself and closest friends, though. I’m a big fan of St. Croix blanks with a few Point Blank options being used for some techniques.
Re: Which is your favorite rod company?
Not sure, it’s a custom Japanese blank. Sarge used to be at Laguna Rod (another well known TX rodmaker).
ML rods weight 2.4 oz with cork grips and 2.1 with foam grips

Re: Which is your favorite rod company?
Just had to change my vote. was G Loomis when this poll was first put up. but now my current favourites aren't even listed that being Major Craft Rods a JDM company and Bone Rods from Singapore. Though I do like the look of Shimano's latest line of rodsI bought myself a Shimano Zodias spin rod to pair with my Vanford 3000 and actually quite like the rod, and am contemplating a expride or adrena baitcast rod but i use Daiwa baitcasters.
Re: Which is your favorite rod company?
At Croix for spinning, Dobyns and Gloomis for casting rods

Re: Which is your favorite rod company?
For shore jigging and bluefin tuna casting from shore i love Zenaq.
I had some of their seabass focused Plaisir Answer series also. They are great rods, but there are better seabass rods ot there. But that PA99 is a joy to use for bluefish and leerfish.
For light game I prefer Graphiteleader.
For seabass game, in my opinion nothing comes close to some of G-Craft Limited series. I sold all Zenaq spin rods after I started using Graphiteleader and G-Craft Limited rods.
