I WANT TO GO TO FISH FROM THE FLOOR WITH THE WEIGHT OF WORMS WITH THE 1/8-3/8 OZ
THE JIG FROM 3/16-3/8
SAY 'WITH THE ROD I'll go' TO DO A LITTLE OF EVERYTHING, BECAUSE I HAVE A LOT OF MONEY TO BUY A LOT.
I WAS ADDRESSED TO THE PURCHASE OF A POWELL ROD, VERY WELL SINCE I HAVE HEARD OF THAT BRAND.
NOW SAY THAT I LIKE PRETTY HARD RODS WITH QUICK ACTION.
TO LET A LITTLE OF EVERYTHING, I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE A POWELL (EF704C) HEAVY X-FAST 1/4-1 OZ.
I ASK YOU TO HELP, IF THE ROD MUST BE PENALTIES FOR WHAT WE WANT TO DO, SAY 'I ASK FOR ADVICE GIVEN THAT ARE JUST CAME IN FISHERIES OF THE BLACK BASS.
SORRY IF THERE ARE ERRORS IN WRITING BUT I WROTE THIS TOPIC WITH A TRANSLATOR, BECAUSE 'IS ITALIAN.
THANKS TO ALL CO THEM THAT I WANT TO HELP.
GREETINGS FROM EMMANUEL.

A 3 power Powell, Medium-Heavy, is considered better for general overall use with the widest variety of lures.

For the weights you talked about, I would also choose the 3 power rod. It will allow you to fish the smaller weights you talked about better and still handle the heavier weights that you mentioned.

you want the powel 703cef not the 704cef. The 3 means it is a medium heavy power, the 4 a heavy power. Unless you are fishing around heavy cover then the 703 will better do what you seek.

I thank you for your advice, but I saw the new endurance series, what do you think, and 'better to take this for $ 30 more'?
the strength of these rods and 'the same?
I hope someone knows anything about it.

The Powell 723MF Endurance would be a good rod for the applications your looking for. The Endurance rod are about 1/2 to 3/4 of a power stiffer. This might give you a little more power with the versitility of a 3 power rod. I've found this rod to perform well with jigs, plastics, spinnerbaits and chatterbaits.

I WANT TO GO TO FISH FROM THE FLOOR WITH THE WEIGHT OF WORMS WITH THE 1/8-3/8 OZ
THE JIG FROM 3/16-3/8
Maybe the Powell 683C is what you're really after? It has no problem handling worms with 1/8oz sinkers and 3/8oz jigs.
I would not go higher than 1/2oz jig with the 683C. 1/2oz jig best reserved for the Powell 704C which is an awesome jig rod.

I think you will be pleased. The 683C is a very nice rod for the money.
