Opinions of the Daiwa LT 701-1RB crankin rod?

Anybody have any experience with the Light & Tough crank rod? Is this rod glass or graphite?
I'm looking for comparisons with the TDS 7' MH glass rod. I love the way this rod sticks fish, I'm just looking for something lighter that will handle similar baits.
