BCR 803 and BCR 853
BCR 803 and BCR 853
Both rods in GLX. Tell me what I can't do with the 853 that the 803 does ? Both paired with tuned 50MG's.

Re: BCR 803 and BCR 853
owning both a nrx 803 and before that a nrx 853 which i assume is the same for the glx.. for me, i'm more accurate at pitching with the 803 cause of the length, it also balances better.. the 853 is abouts 1/2 pwr heavier to me, can fish deeper water or cover.. but otherwise both rods are the same, it's a perference of length

Mostly this is a choice of lengh as per the last post. I have preference to the 803 and generally believe it has more following then the 853.

Re: BCR 803 and BCR 853
I have both. Either the 803 or 853 can do cross over duty. In reality the 853 is better for flinging baits a bit further and the 803 does a bit better pitching closer in (IMO).
The 803, in my hands feels a bit more connected to the bait (it may be because the baits are on a shorter leash ). Choosing between the two, for finesse plastics (Senko, craws, creatures), I'd grab the BCR 803.
Both are quite remarkable.
