seven foot med-heavy or heavy action rod that feels good when you hold it because you don't have to worry about feeling them bite its just like WAHMMY and the rod should be light cause you have to cast it a lot and also a 7:0:1 reel at least maybe more .......that is the only reel i do not have in my line up ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

Thanks for the input guys. For now I'm just going to use my 7ft mh crucial crankbait, but eventually I'm going to get a nice 7ft mh fast rod for buzzbaits etc.
Thanks for the epiphany captain obvious

How about the Dobyns DX 703c? It sounds like it would make a good general purpose rod, what about buzzbaits?
Been thinking about getting one to go with my dx 704 to round out my rod selection.
Thanks for the epiphany captain obvious

I have always used Mediums for buzzbaits and have had no problems with hook sets or power. I think your choice of Dobyn's DX703 is a solid choice.

I like a 7' rod with good backbone and a forgiving tip. Currently using a St. Croix Extreme 7' mf which is basically a "Teaser". When I fished Loomis rods I used the CBR 845.

I use two different rods, a Colmic Rod Matt Herren G70 (graphite) 1/4-1/2 oz
or or a Colmic Rod BW-B610(fiberglass) 6'-10" 1/4-3/4oz
these rods excel at using a buzzbait! =D> \:D/
