Re: New worm/jig rod
I'd go with one of the Powell's given the three choices.

I would also pick the powell between the 3 choices. Another good choice in that price range would be the Falcon LowRider XG Cast 7' Heavy. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Falcon_L ... -FLRC.html
Thanks for the epiphany captain obvious

x2 The Powell seems like your best bet there.bstuckey wrote:I'd go with one of the Powell's given the three choices.

Powell
Re: New worm/jig rod
I'd go with the Powell as well. At that price range though, you do have more options.
You can't go wrong with any Dobyns rod and the Savvy 703 is in that range. The Kistler Magnesium TS is also a very nice rod for that price and have gotten nice reviews here as well as the Abu Garcia Verdict rods.
I'd definitely take a peek at the Dobyns though.

Re: New worm/jig rod
Check out the Powell 764C. You'll find that this rod is great for so many things.
Re: New worm/jig rod
No experience with any other than I sell Carrot Stix where I work. I would go with the IROD or the Powell and avoid the Carrot Stix. You might also look into the Ducket's either the 7'3MH or the 7'6H.
Re: New worm/jig rod
it's a no brainer...hands down powell
