u guys should be right about having a longer rod would be better for punching, besides, I have more than enough flipping sticks

BTW, I was cruising their website cuz my friend told me it looks different. Looks like they have some dealers in Canada now.

well, just received my DX795..
UPS charged me $65 in brokerage and taxes ($40 goes to UPS brokerage.... greedy bastards)
anyways.. this rod is LIGHT... for a 7'9 rod, I've never felt anything like it... it's light AND balanced... can't wait to put it on water..
I usually try to say under 7' for rods, but after the DX743, and now the DX795, I'm a firm believer in Dobyns..
